With dimensions of just 5.6x1.6 inches, it is the smallest thermal monocular in Pulsar's range, housing a high-quality 384x288 thermal imaging sensor from Europe with NETD <25 mK for exceptional sensitivity and detailed thermal images.
The monocular features digital zoom, Picture-in-Picture mode, eight color palettes, an onboard multimedia suite, and Wi-Fi connectivity for versatile usage.
Its durable, waterproof housing ensures reliable performance in various weather conditions, making it ideal for outdoor use.

Highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor
For image capture Axion XQ30 Pro uses professional-grade thermal imaging sensor with 384x288 pixels resolution and less the 25 mK thermal sensitivity. This ensures low levels of noise while providing excellent image detail and high contrast.
Wide field of view for easy scanning
Axion XQ30 Pro possesses 13.3° field of view which simplifies scanning and searching for hot objects. Wide field of view allows the observer to quickly spot all hot objects and focus on the most interesting ones, while simultaneously keeping all scene in view.
Compact pocket-sized design
Axion XQ30 Pro has a compact pocket-sized design and fits perfectly into one’s hand. It is an ideal option for hunting and tourism. The symmetrical design of the unit in combination with top placement of buttons ensures comfort of left- and right-hand use.
Rugged magnesium alloy housing
Axion XQ30 Pro is designed for constant, often hard use. A magnesium alloy housing is light and strong at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time a metal housing effectively removes the heat from electronics, minimizes image noise and increases consistency of the device operation during long-term observation.
Photo and video recording
The Built-in video recorder is a great asset when it comes to filming or taking photos of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. One press of the REC button captures footage that can be shared easily with colleagues, friends and family. 16 Gb of internal memory provide many hours of recorded video and tons of photos.
Sensitivity amplification levels
3 amplification levels combined with new filtration algorithms and fine brightness and contrast adjustments, increase the hunter’s chances for early detection of the animals under heavy weather and high humidity conditions. These settings provide optimized rendering of the target and background objects in the observation scene.
A selection of 8 color palettes
The user can enhance their field of view effectively by choosing from 8 color palettes. This enables them to optimize the unit for specific tasks and adapt to varying observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are ideal for object detection, while Rainbow and Ultramarine improve chances for recognition and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for prolonged night observation.
Stream Vision 2 app support for iOS and Android
The built-in Wi-Fi module connects the device with either Android or iOS smartphones using the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This combination opens up a wide range of options: wireless device software updates, real-time image transmission to the mobile device screen, remote control digital functions and much more. Users registered in the application are provided with cloud storage space for photos and videos taken with the device.
Frost-resistant AMOLED Display
A high-contrast AMOLED display has an improved colour rendering, power saving and quick-response, providing sharp and smooth images observing even under frosty conditions.
Long-life removable battery
A rapid-change APS3 rechargeable battery offers 7 hours of uninterrupted use for the thermal imaging device on one charge. Easily replaceable, the battery can be swapped in seconds. It can be charged in a dedicated device or within the thermal imager through a PC, household power system, or power bank using a USB connection. These same sources can also be utilized for external power supply to the thermal imaging device.
Fast charging with USB Type-C
The unit can be quickly charged with any charger supporting power delivery protocol via ordinary USB Type-C power cable.
IPX7 Waterproof rated
IPX7 waterproof-rated for protection from heavy rainfall, snow or other precipitation. The unit is designed to run flawlessly, even after submersion in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
Picture-in-Picture Function
Picture-in-picture displays a magnified image at the top-center 10% of the overall field of view for precise zooming on an object of interest.

We offer two shipping options: non-tracked or tracked. By selecting the non-tracked option, you agree to carry the risk associated with the parcel’s travel.
We also offer a tracked DHL Express option. Pricing will be available at checkout.
When an order is shipped outside of New Zealand you may be charged duties or taxes by your local government before the items will be released to you, as these are beyond our control please check with your local customs department prior to ordering should you have any concerns. These charges are not the responsibility of Hamills Taupo.

There are some products that we are unable to sell online but we are still able to ship nationwide. We can accept payment by credit card over the phone or via bank transfer.
As these items may be age or license restricted, you will be required to complete a Firearms Mail Order Form before we can release the goods. Please contact us in the shop 07 378 7779 or flick us an email shop@hamillstaupo.co.nz and we would be happy to talk you through the process.
We can only deliver firearms and ammunition to the following addresses:
- The licence holders address (this must match your firearms license and you must be home to receive the delivery)
- Your local firearms dealer (please ensure you have their permission for us to deliver your item to them. They may charge a collection fee to you direct on pick up).
For online sales of firearms and ammunition, we are required by law to have a police officer check in person that your firearms license is valid.
