The VX-6HD is begging to go where other scopes can’t. We gave it new High-Definition lenses for sharpened clarity, and a new light management system for even greater low-light performance, giving hunters a visible advantage at dawn and dusk when the biggest game is on the move. The new CDS-ZL2 dial locks in place so it cannot be inadvertently rotated off its zero. A mere press of a button will allow the user to dial up elevation, up to 40 MOA (80cm), if necessary. All Leupold VX-HD riflescopes are CDS capable. To take it totally over the top, we added an in-scope cant indicator for precise leveling, a throw lever for fast magnification changes, and an even more robust erector system. 

With a slightly smaller objective lens than its 50mm counterpart, the VX®-6HD 3-18x44mm can do it all, while packing a little less weight. Dial it down to 3x magnification to get enough field of view to navigate brush and timber or crank the power selector all the way up to 18x to dominate any backcountry landscape.

This particular model comes with a Firedot Duplex reticle which adds an extra bright center point dot. Perfect for quick target acquisition and the broadest range of game applications.

6:1 ZOOM RATIO

A versatile 6:1 zoom ratio gives you 6 times more magnification at high power than at low power (model magnification ranges are available in powers of 6x: 1-6, 2-12, 3-18, 4-24, etc.), so you can dial your power way down for close encounters or all of the way up for long-range shots. The larger the zoom ratio, the more versatile one scope can be.

SIDE FOCUS

The side focus adjusts the scope's parallax, making the reticle clearer and have less perceived movement when you're shooting at different distances.

CUSTOM DIAL SYSTEM

Leupold's Custom Dial System® (CDS®) gives you the ability to customize your turret (adjustment dial) to your exact ballistics and environmental conditions. Once your new custom dial is installed, simply range the target, turn the dial to that number, and aim dead on.

CDS-ZL2 ELEVATION DIAL

The CDS-ZL2 (ZeroLock 2) provides two revolutions of elevation adjustment while eliminating accidental dial movement with the push-button ZeroLock system. It also features Leupold's award-winning Custom Dial System® (CDS®), which allows shooters to order a laser-marked bullet-drop dial to match their exact ballistics and conditions.

SECOND FOCAL PLANE

In Second Focal Plane (rear focal plane) scopes, the reticle stays the same size while the target grows and shrinks when you adjust the magnification. These reticles are ideal for lowlight hunting situations and in scopes that don't utilize hash marks for range estimation.

ZERO LOCK DIAL

The ZeroLock® system eliminates accidental dial movement by locking it in place.

ZERO LOCK WINDAGE ADJUSTMENT
